At the Osaka 2016 meeting, the ICH Management Committee endorsed a Pilot Programme for 2017 in which the ICH Training Subcommittee would partner with a small group of training providers to organise and deliver high quality programmes based upon the scientific and regulatory principles outlined in ICH guidelines. A needs assessment survey of industry and regulators was done to identify which guidelines were most in need of training. The Subcommittee identified training providers, who are responsible for logistics and administration of their programmes.

Information on pilot programmes that are available can be found below. ICH-endorsed programmes will have the ICH training logo on their promotional materials, to signify that they are participating in the 2017 Pilot. At the end of 2017, outcomes of each pilot programme will be analyzed and factored into a longer-term training strategy for the ICH Management Committee to consider.
